As the warm weather fades away and turns into cooler days, falling leaves and do we dare say….snow, we reflect on what is ahead for the Fall and Winter seasons. We’d like to remind you of a couple things as we move forward:
- While we no longer allow leaf burning in the gutter, you may burn them in the yard of the residence in which the leaves fall or collect them and take them to the brush pile. The Village brush pile will be open until Monday, November 27th. It is located near the Wastewater Treatment Plant on Wolf Road.
- Winter parking rules go into effect with the first measurable snowfall. That means when the streets are plowed (not just salted). Once this happens, no parking will be allowed on Village streets between 2:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. until April 1st. In addition, sidewalks along your property must be shoveled within 24 hours of the end of every snowfall and not to be blown into the street from any property or sidewalk.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the Village office if you have any questions. We’re happy to help in any way we can.
Have a wonderful Fall/Winter!!
