Grace Period for Property Tax Payments

Due to recent inclement weather and U.S. Postal Service delays, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to provide the following guidance.


Under state law, porperty tax payments are not delinquent if received within five working days of the January 31, 2019 payment deadline. (sec. 74.11(7), and 74.12(7), Wis. Stats.)

Original Due Date:Thursday, January 31, 2019

Grace Period: Thursday, February 7, 2019

Walk in payments and Mailed payments (regardless of postmark) will be accepted if received by Thursday, February 7, 2019.

2019 Dog and Cat License renewal

Wisconsin Statutes (Sections 95.21(2), 174.05, and 174.07(1)(b)) require all dogs that are 5 (five) months of age or older to be licensed.  The owner of the dog mut obtain a license annually prior to April 1st, or, on or before the date the dog becomes 5 (five) months of age.  *Evidence that the dog/cat is currently immunized against rabies must be presented before a license can be issued.  Failure to obtain a license prior to the April 1st deadline will result in a late fee of $10.00 per animal. A dog/cat license may not be transferred from one dog/cat to another.  A dog/cat license can be obtained a the Village Office between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Please contact the Village Office at 920-994-4852 for additional information if needed.
